Topic Outline:

As cash flows have been elevated to a primary survival mechanism for most large and small organisations in the recent years, the seminar will examine the following:

  • Revisit the mechanics of the statement of cash flows, for financial as well as management reporting.
  • Explore cash management techniques of the availability and uses of cash and debt, including using KPIs for analysis.
  • Assess the ratio analyses on amended cash flows that rating agencies use for the covenant thresholds they set, as a means of company evaluation.
