Gerry is responsible EMC’s Public Sector business in Ireland covering Central and Local Govt, Health, Education and Semi-State. EMC (incorporating VMware and their RSA security Division) employs close to 3,000 people in Ireland and is a global leader in Information Management, Cloud and Big Data. Gerry is involved in major initiatives with Govt. to accelerate the adoption of Cloud and related services. He is a member of the ICT Ireland Governing Council (part of IBEC). Formerly Gerry was I.S. Manager for the Jefferson Smurfit Group (now Smurfit Kappa) with involvement in large-scale Europe-wide IT projects.
Michelle is a lecturer with Independent Colleges specialising in P3 Business Analysis and F9 Financial Management. She is a Past President of ACCA Leinster Network. Prior to this role Michelle has worked as a Senior Manager in Deloitte consulting for ten years completing many projects in the public and private sector. A sample of these projects include: review of current IT systems, specification and selection of ERP systems, implementation of ERP systems, process redesign, change management, system function proving and development of policies and procedures.
