Speaker: Simon Coveney, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine
Minister Coveney has held a number of positions within the Fine Gael party including Spokesperson on Drugs and Youth Issues, assistant Chief Whip and Secretary of the Parliamentary Party and Spokesperson for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources. In 2004 he was elected to the European Parliament for Fine Gael and in March 2011 he was appointed Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
