Guest Speaker:  Angela McGowan, Regional Director of Confederation of British Industry in Northern Ireland. 

Angela will discuss the key challenges around growing the Northern Ireland economy.

Angela has enjoyed a varied career as an economist in both the public and the private sector.  After eight years working as the Chief Economist for Danske Bank, her latest career move brings her to the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) where she is currently Regional Director of CBI in Northern Ireland.  The CBI is considered to be the ‘voice of business’ both locally and nationally.  It represents around two thirds of the Top 100 companies in NI as well as many small firms across the region.
