We are delighted to have Guest Speaker Ger Twomey, Director in the People & Organisation Consulting practice, PwC Ireland join Melíosa O’Caoimh, Country Head, Northern Trust for this event.

Both Ger and Melíosa will be in conversation with Tara Clements, ACCA Financial Services Chair and will be discussing Diversity & Inclusion – the journey to integration within an organisation.

Ger is a Director in the People & Organisation Consulting practice in PwC Ireland. Prior to joining PwC, Ger held a number of senior HR roles in industry, including Head of HR roles and Head of Group Reward for a leading Irish financial services organisation. She was also HR Change Manager for a leading Irish semi-State utility company acting as HR programme manager during the sale of the business.

Since joining PwC Ger has led significant engagements in culture (including the cultural audit of An Garda Síochána in 2017/18), organisation design, strategic workforce planning and change management amongst others.  An increasing area of focus for Ger is the future world of work and what this means for the workforce of the future and the need for greater diversity and inclusion as organisations look to adapt to changing capability needs.

Ger is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the National College of Ireland.

Meliosa will be speaking about The 30% Club’s research and the steps that organisations might consider in implementing Diversity & Inclusion to ensure that the outcomes required by Regulators are achieved.

Melíosa  O’Caoimh is responsible for all asset servicing business activities conducted from Northern Trust’s Dublin and Limerick offices. Northern Trust in Ireland provides fund administration, global custody, depositary and middle office services to fund managers and institutional investors worldwide, including traditional and alternative asset managers, insurance companies and multinational pension funds.

Based in Dublin, O’Caoimh joined Northern Trust in 2003. During her career, she has held senior roles including head of relationship management and chief operations officer. She has also held a wide range of board appointments, including serving on the board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ireland from 2008 to 2014, and led a number of key industry initiatives.
