David Giles, Partner – David is a partner in BDO in the tax department and an associate member of the Institute of Taxation Ireland. Previously he worked in the Office of the Revenue Commissioners and is a former Council Member of the Irish Taxation Institute. David has 30 years experience advising owner managed businesses on all areas of taxation, both corporate and personal. He has specialised in advising GP’s on tax efficient exit strategies over the last two years.

Mark Hynes, Tax Director - Mark has extensive experience in advising companies, both Irish and multi-national, on their tax planning strategies from both a domestic and international perspective.In addition, he also advise corporates on their research and development strategy and  processes and reviews R & D credit claims on their behalf.

This seminar will give an overview of the Minister for Finance’s decisions in relation to the budget for the coming year and how these decisions will affect tax rates in relation to income tax, corporation tax, VAT, pensions and other issues affecting businesses generally.
