David Giles, Partner – David is a partner in BDO in the tax department and an associate member of the Institute of Taxation Ireland. Previously he worked in the Office of the Revenue Commissioners and is a former Council Member of the Irish Taxation Institute. David has 30 years experience advising owner managed businesses on all areas of taxation, both corporate and personal. He has specialised in advising GP’s on tax efficient exit strategies over the last two years.
David Rouse, Senior Manager Tax - David is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (FCA) and a Chartered Tax Consultant (CTA) Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute. He is a Senior Manager in BDO’s Tax Department, advising a range of domestic and international corporate and personal tax clients. David serves on the Professional Services Committee of the Irish Taxation Institute. He holds a degree of Bachelor of Business and Legal Studies from UCD.
Topic Outline:
This seminar will give an overview of the Minister for Finance’s decisions in relation to the budget for the coming year and how these decisions will affect tax rates in relation to income tax, corporation tax, VAT, pensions and other issues affecting businesses generally.
