Robert Finnegan, CEO, 3 Ireland

Robert Finnegan has been Three Ireland’s CEO since the company’s launch in 2005, leading it through its acquisition of O2 Ireland in 2014. With over 2 million customers, Three is one of Ireland’s leading telecommunications companies and the market leaders for data, carrying over 60% of the country’s mobile data, more than all other mobile operators combined. 

A qualified accountant from Waterford, Finnegan worked for other CK Hutchison businesses in Hong Kong from 1992 before joining Three, serving as CEO of its beverage division, Watson’s. Prior to that, Finnegan held senior finance roles at Lyons Tetley and Procter & Gamble.
