Sustainability reporting is a growth area for organisations, both big and small. Preparers of reports face a plethora of frameworks and standards to choose from and it can be challenging to select the most appropriate approach for your own organisation.
Join ACCA Ireland's Ulster Member Panel for an event on "Towards Zero Carbon: Sustainability Reporting with Northern Ireland Water" on 2 November. This session will be hosted by Jonathan Kyle, Chair of the ACCA Ulster Panel, and he will be joined by Keith Scott, at NI Water.
During the session, Keith will outline the approach to sustainability reporting at Northern Ireland Water, the publicly owned water and wastewater utility. The Company is using a combination of Integrated Reporting, the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Climate (TCFD) Reporting to communicate what it is doing to help society address the two big challenges of the 21st Century – the climate emergency and the biodiversity crisis.
Keith will also cover the multi-capitals approach being used to drive more sustainable decision making and cover some examples of sustainability projects.
