Michelle Hourican is a founding director of Datatrails a company formed in January 2017 to provide consultancy services in GDPR.  Michelle brings a wealth of experience; she trained as an auditor in Business Services Department in Deloitte, she moved to Management Consulting within Deloitte, for many years engaging with clients as a Senior Manager.  She is a Fellow of ACCA and holds an MSc in Management and Application of IT in Accounting. She lectured ACCA and Business Studies for many years.   She was awarded ACCA Accountant of the Year in 2015
 
Currently Michelle is a director of a Credit Union where she chairs the Audit and IT committee. She is also a Global Council member of ACCA.
 
Michelle has conducted many readiness assessments, provided advice on Data Protection  and presented training courses on GDPR to clients from a variety of sectors.
