Richard Maguire, Lead Partner, Mazars

Richard is the lead partner in the Limerick office of Mazars and has been a partner with Mazars since 2017. Richard joined Mazars from Maguire Caulfield Browne, where he was the founding partner. Richard is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and has over 24 years' experience in advising and assisting companies particularly in the areas of audit, corporate finance, receiverships, and liquidations.
Richard works with financial institutions and the Revenue Commissioners on insolvency assignments and advises clients in the areas of debt restructuring, business planning, and mergers and acquisitions. Richard also has responsibility for the completion of assessments and formulation of reports on the financial aspects and structures of businesses on behalf of banks and clients.

Ashling Walsh, Head of Insolvency and Corporate Restructuring, RDJ

Ashling heads up the Insolvency and Corporate Restructuring Team at RDJ. Ashling is also a member of the corporate and commercial team and uses her extensive knowledge of Irish company law to a significant advantage in advising clients with respect to both the sale and acquisition of distressed companies.
Ashling advises on all types of restructurings and insolvency law matters and has extensive experience in advising insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, liquidators, examiners, receivers, debtors, and distressed companies.
Ashling is recognised as a leading lawyer for Insolvency in The Legal 500 and is a member of the Irish Society of Insolvency Practitioners (ISIP). Ashling lectures on the Law Society PPC 2 Insolvency course and has presented at a number of external seminars on insolvency matters and has also co-written two chapters of the most recent edition of the Law Society's insolvency manual.

Fergal Cahill, CTA Managing Director, Cahill Taxation Services

Fergal is a graduate of Law & Accounting from the University of Limerick qualified and is a Chartered Tax Adviser with the Irish Tax Institute.
Prior to founding CTS in 2007, Fergal's career included spells as Trainee in PWC Limerick, Tax Senior in PWC Cork, Tax Director in FGS, and Tax Director in KPMG. Fergal's particular areas of expertise include Revenue audits, corporate restructuring, succession planning, personal tax planning and VAT on property.
