Jim is co-founder and CEO of GloHealth which entered the health insurance market in 2012.

Going back to 2003 Jim was part of the team that established VIVAS Health which later became Aviva Health, following its acquisition by Hibernian Aviva in 2009. In Aviva Jim held the positions of MD of Aviva Health before being appointed to the role of CEO of Aviva Ireland.

Prior to moving into the health insurance sector in 2003 Jim worked in the IT and technology sector with Marrakech and Amdahl, having commenced his career with Irish Life Assurance.

Jim will share his observations and experience of the health system with a focus on the public and private health system today and the challenges that will need to be addressed in the future as the demands of the Irish population continue to change.
