Bryan has been industry recognised as a pioneer in Digital Transformation, Digital Banking,
Artificial Intelligence, Distributed Ledger Technology, Innovation and Enterprise Architecture.
Over the last 20 years he has held senior and executive roles with many companies across
Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America, including Rabobank, KBC, Bank of Ireland,
Royal Bank of Scotland Ernst & Young and most recently as the Group CTO in the National Bank of Abu Dhabi.
On returning to Ireland from the UAE in 2017 Bryan co-founded iConnect101. iConnect101 is a practitioner led Consultancy and System Integrator that specialises in Digital Transformation and Innovation. 
Bryan and his team are currently working with Fintechs and numerous Banks across Europe and Asia helping them envision a commitment to perpetual change and acceleration — and then partnering to build technology to make it happen.
Bryan is equally passionate about banking and technology and inspiring his teams and clients to achieve shared success. In 2017 he led the implementation of the first commercially used
Blockchain in the Middle East & North Africa and was formally recognised with Distinction by the Open Group for his team’s continued contribution to Innovation in Enterprise Architecture. Bryan is a regular speaker at international conferences on topics including Leadership, Digital
Transformation, Programme Management, Advanced Digital Architectures and Innovation, and has delivered guest lectures to a number of universities.

Joern Dobberstein, Central Bank of Ireland 

Head of the Banking IT Risk Inspection Team

Joern heads the IT risk inspection team within banking supervision at the Central Bank of Ireland. In this role he has IT risk assessed mayor Irish banks in key IT risk areas including IT security management, IT operations management, IT outsourcing, Business Continuity and IT risk management.He has over 15 years of experience in IT risk assessment and IT management in the financial sector, working as an IT auditor in both the public and private sector as well as in various IT operational roles.Joern participates and collaborates in various IT risk expert groups for the ECB, EBA and IOSCO. He holds a BSc (Honors) in Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin and has been granted the CISA certification by ISACA.
