International Women's Day 2021 campaign theme is #ChooseToChallenge; the idea that a challenged world is an alert world.
This year we are inviting you all to #ChooseToChallenge. Through our actions, voices, and thoughts we can choose to challenge inequity and collectively contribute to a gender-equal, more inclusive world.
In the spirit of this year's theme, we would like to invite you to join us to celebrate International Women's Day 2021 virtually, on Friday, 5 March from 12:00 to 13:30. The event will be chaired by ACCA Ireland Chair, Tara Clements.
On this day we celebrate women. We celebrate their achievements.
This year, we are delighted to have Irish Businesswoman, Anne Heraty, CEO of Cpl Resources joining us as our guest speaker. Cpl, founded in 1989 and led by Anne Heraty, recently agreed a sale of the company for €318 million by the Japanese group ‘Outsourcing’. Through a compelling interview with one of the most successful businesswomen in Ireland, Anne will share insights from her learnings, experiences, and challenges throughout her impressive career.
On the day we will also conduct a panelist discussion with some of our ACCA Ireland Panel Members, in which they will answer questions, share their opinions and discuss areas concerning; gender bias, stereotypes, and equality, helping to broaden perceptions and fight bias.
This will be a positive, enjoyable, and eye-opening event and we hope that you will join us in choosing to challenge.
Booking for this event will close at 12:00 pm on Thursday the 4th of March.
