This event will be followed by a wine reception and opportunity to network with Sligo members and guests.

Guest speakers are:  Fiona Egan Business Development Director and founder at sásta fitness franchise.

With headquarters in Co. Leitrim, sásta currently has a numbers of studios open in Ireland with plans in place for UK, European and North American launches from 2014 onwards.  With rising obesity levels sásta has identified a gap in the market for a fitness solution that is accessible to all abilities, catering for men and women up to 31 stone.

Fiona won the Ulster Bank Irish Franchise Association "Franchising Woman of the Year" award in 2012.

Previously Fiona worked as a Management Accountant at Abbott Labs in Donegal, Financial Controller at Green Isle Foods and was Accountant, Financial Trainer & Consultant at Egan Casey.

David McCoy, Chair Strandhill Business Association, Member Sligo Leader Group, General Manager, Strandhill Lodge and Suites Boutique Hotel.

David is Chair of the Strandhill Business Association and is involved with the Sligo Leader Project.  In conjunction with many Sligo tourism-related business leaders the Sligo Leader Project co-ordinated a campaign to Jointly market the area as one in an effort to increase tourism for the area as a whole, and set up a communal website www.gostrandhill.com, a local tourist office and a local tourist bus tour of the peninsula which was launched by Brian Hayes TD, Minister of State in June 2013.

A Sligo native, David has been General Manager of the Strandhill Lodge and Suites Boutique Hotel since 2011.  Last year the hotel won Best Small Hotel in Ireland by Tripadvisor (13th best on the world).  Prior to returning to Sligo David worked in various hotels in Galway and was President of the Students' Union at GMIT, where he studied Heritage and Tourism.
