*Cancelled - UK and Europe - Implications for Financial Services - Cancelled *

Reference:FSN2

The relationship between the UK and the wider EU - as well as the Eurozone authorities - is brittle.

Nowhere is this more obvious than in the field of Financial Services.

The City remains a preeminent global centre at a time of great uncertainty across all markets.

The outcome of the forthcoming British General Election will, therefore, have cast a long shadow over how the relationship

between the UK and the EU is likely to evolve especially in the event of a referendum on the UK's membership.

This seminar will provide an opportunity to engage with, and reflect on, these and related issues, as the General Election looms.

Speaker: Professor Ray Kinsella

Professor Kinsella worked as an economist in the Central Bank of Ireland and subsequently as a Government economic advisor

He has taught, researched and published at the University of Ulster and at the UCD Graduate School of Business.

Professor Kinsella has been a member of the HEA, the Northern Ireland Economic Council and was the first Chairman of DIT.
