ACCA and PwC wish to invite you to a joint event on Robotics in Finance on Friday, 27 April at Fédération des Entreprises Romandes.
This event has been kindly organised by PwC and Jerome Vial, ACCA Switzerland steering group member.
Robotics and cognitive automation applied in Finance
Larger enterprises are currently in the process of rolling out their robotics process automation (RPA) programs in their Finance functions. These programs aim to increase speed, process accuracy and ultimately save cost. However, not all activities in transactional accounting follow strictly predefined rules. Sometimes information of different sources need to be considered and assessed to determine the right action or conclusion. During the event we will showcase the application of robotics, machine learning and natural language processing and how that changes the way of working in Finance.
The idea of audit as a single, universal service that is the same for all types of entity anywhere in the world is under unprecedented strain. The complexity and global interconnectedness of today's business environment have resulted in growing demand for assurance that information is disclosed fairly and accurately. But one pace of development may not suit all. The accountancy profession must adapt by understanding who the users are, what information they need from an audit and how they will use it.
The event is free to attend but booking is essential.
***Please book in as a guest and not as an ACCA member or student. You will receive an e-mail confirming your booking once submitted.
