ACCA Ireland are inviting you to our Insolvency and Case Law Update event which will be delivered by Gearoid Costelloe. This online seminar will take place on Thursday 27th of April 2023.

 

This event is aimed at general practitioners who from time to time are called upon to advise a client who is facing insolvency and is seeking advice from their accountant on their options for the business, as well as advice on the personal obligations of directors and shadow directors.

  • Advising a client who is facing insolvency including handling the creditors meeting in a liquidation.

About the Presenter:

 

Gearoid Costelloe is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a member of the Law Library and a practising barrister, specialising in commercial and company law. He is a qualified CEDR mediator. He was previously a partner in Grant Thornton, specialising in advisory and insolvency work, and served as Partner in Charge of Grant Thornton Cork and Limerick offices. Gearoid was also Chairman of the national practice for several years.
