Speaker: Michael McGrath, Spokesperson on Finance, Fianna Fáil

Michael McGrath was elected a T.D. for Cork South Central in 2007 and was re-elected in  2011. Michael was appointed Fianna Fáil’s Spokesperson on Finance by Party Leader Micheál Martin in August 2011. Prior to his election to the Dáil, Michael was elected to Cork County Council in June 2004 for the Carrigaline electoral area. Michael qualified as an accountant with KPMG in Cork City in 2001. He went on to work as a Financial Controller of a medium sized enterprise in Cork. He left a senior post in UCC as Head of Management Information and Systems in February 2005 to concentrate on his constituency work.
