ACCA Ireland are inviting you to our online CPD Seminar on Tax Efficient Remuneration which will be delivered by Maura Gity, Tax Advisor at Gintax. This online seminar will take place on Thursday 7th of July 2022.

This seminar will provide an overview aimed at employers and advisers on Ireland’s tax regime for renumeration – to include a run-through of the efficiencies with tips & traps. 

Topics covered will include, an update on new BIK rules for company cars and share schemes for SME’s and Revenue concessions. The session will also include a short focus on niche areas such as family employees, foreign aspects and R&D credit.

About the speaker:

Maura advises private Irish business and families on tax; she has her own firm Gintax and before this was with KPMG for 16 years as tax adviser. She is a Chartered Accountant and member of Irish Taxation Institute Maura has over 16 years tax experience in KPMG across most sectors - she worked mainly with private Irish clients but also Irish and foreign multinationals. Maura is a member of the Irish Tax Institute and a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.  She has a degree in law and accounting from the University of Limerick. Maura frequently presents on topical tax matters to both Chartered Accountants Ireland and other industry groups. Her experience includes advising Irish and international businesses at all stages of development from start-up, expansion in Ireland and abroad, acquisition, day-to-day operations, restructuring to ultimately succession and/or disposal. For larger projects, Maura facilitates a coordinated approach with lawyers, bankers, other advisers and when necessary, tax authority officials.
