Gerry Tallon, Group Treasurer of ESB

Gerry took up the role of Group Treasurer in September 2016. Prior to this Gerry held a number of senior management positions across ESB Group including Group Funding Manager, Financial Controller ESB International and most recently Financial Controller Electric Ireland. A qualified accountant Gerry worked with Barclays Capital and Norwich Union International before joining ESB in 2003.

Edward Preston, BOI

Edward is Head of Corporate Interest Rate Risk Management with Bank of Ireland Global Markets responsible for providing rate solutions for the Bank’s Corporate customers. He has been with the Bank since 2004 working within the Corporate & Institutional Treasury Solutions team. Prior to joining Bank of Ireland Edward worked as Head of Eastern European Debt distribution with Raifeissen Bank London, and in Fixed Income Sales for Mizuho International and Mitsubishi Finance. Edward graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Francisco Jimenez, KPMG

Francisco is a Manager in KPMG Financial instruments (KFI), where he is in charge of the valuation of financial instruments and hedge accounting advise for different clients and sectors.  Francisco speaks on financial instruments topics for industry organizations and he is member of the Irish Funds (IF) Investment risk working group and European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) derivative working group.  Prior to joining KPMG Dublin, Francisco was working in Deloitte (Spain) as a valuation and hedge accounting expert, where he was in charge of complex products valuation. Since joining KPMG in 2015, he is in charge of the complex financial instruments valuation and hedge accounting advisory. He has provided accounting training for many clients and internal KPMG staff
