ACCA has partnered with the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland (ACOI) to being you the opportunity to attend an event on Data Subject Rights under the GDPR.  The keynote speaker is Maureen Kehoe, Assistant Commissioner with the Data Protection Commission.

Subject Access Requests are becoming increasingly common as data subjects become more aware of their rights. As an essential means of complying with the principles of transparency and accountability, Assistant Commissioner Maureen Kehoe will provide the viewpoint and guidance from the DPC. There will also be a presentation on engaging and utilising an Outsourced DPO (Art 37(6)) covering the benefits and challenges of such arrangements.

Maureen Kehoe is an Assistant Commissioner in the Data Protection Commission and is head of Access rights Complaint Handling and Inquiries. Maureen has been a practicing solicitor since 1997 and prior to joining the DPC in 2015, she was a partner in her own law firm.
