About the presenter 

Deirdre McHugh, Barrister, is a Lecturer in Law at the ATU Galway and is a founder member of 353 Management & Legal Training Services. Deirdre is a strong advocate in educating businesses that prevention is far better than the cure and her focus is to avoid costly litigation by ensuring her clients have a deep understanding of all their legal compliance obligations by putting preventative strategies in place.
Deirdre graduated with a B.A. Degree (1988) and an LL.B. (Law) (1991) degree from NUI Galway. She then obtained her Barrister-at-Law degree (1994) from the Honorable Society of Kings Inns, Dublin and was awarded her Masters Degree by Research in Law (LL.M) (2003) from UCD.


Widely acknowledged as an expert in Employment Law, Deirdre has delivered many courses and seminars and provides consultancy on a variety of employment issues to a broad range of clients.
