ACCA Ireland are inviting you to our Implementing ISQM in an audit practice event which will be delivered by John McCarthy. This online seminar will take place on Thursday 11th of May 2023.

 

ISQM 1 is the new International Standard on Quality Management that replaces ISQC 1. It applies to the audits or reviews of financial statements, or other assurance or related services engagements and affects audit firms of all sizes.

 

ISQM 1 requires firms to develop, document and implement a system of quality management (SoQM) that is specifically tailored and responsive by 15th December 2022.

 

The webinar will address the following topics:

About the Presenter:

John McCarthy is a regular speaker on accountancy practice matters, compliance and audit/accounting technical regulation. He frequently assists firms preparing for regulatory inspections.

He has expertise in delivery of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) training to accountants, tax experts, solicitors, insurance brokers, auctioneers and company secretarial and trust specialists.

He has given joint (AML) presentations with the Garda Economic Bureau and the Revenue Commissioners and has also organised and presented specialist courses on the Solicitors Accounts Regulations, insurance brokers and charities.
