Implementing the new sustainable reporting standards

Reference:

ACCA Ireland are inviting you to our Implementing the new sustainable reporting standards event. This online seminar will take place on Wednesday 15th of March 2023.

Disclosures under the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) will shortly become mandatory for Irish and European businesses.  The implementation dates are based on company size with the first companies coming in scope next year.  ESRS are as complex as IFRS to implement and will require some planning and data capture.

This free to attend event is designed for accountants in companies who will be subject to the new requirements.  It is also for accountants in companies that voluntarily choose to come in scope or who are forced by their customers to report under the new requirements.  The course will provide delegates with:

  • And understanding of the scope and application dates
  • A comprehensive look at ESRS 1 the conceptional framework
  • A comprehensive look at ESRS 2 the general disclosures
  • A review of ESRS E1 to E5, the environmental standards
  • A review of ESRS S1 to S4, the social standards
  • A review of ESRS G1, the governance standards
  • A review the “double materiality” requirement in the standards
  • Practical examples of the disclosures

The event will conclude with a Q&A.
