International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) are the public sector equivalent of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the European Union is planning the establishment and adoption of European Public Sector Accounting Standards (EPSAS) based on IPSAS with adoption dates to be determined by the respective countries. 


This course is designed to introduce the standards, their rational for use, look at their adoption around the world and serve as a signpost to further learning.
