Rebecca is a director in the asset management tax practice of PwC Dublin.  She has extensive experience in advising and assisting asset management industry groups and has had exposure to a number of large active players in the asset management markets.

Rebecca has in-depth knowledge of the recently introduced FATCA legislation in the U.S. and has been involved in educating clients on the impact of FATCA on their business, as well as the systems which will be necessary to gather the information required in order to comply with the new regulations.

• Rebecca will bring us through the main provisions of the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act ("FATCA") which imposes reporting requirements on non-US financial institutions
• She will discuss the latest developments with respect to the US - Ireland Intergovernmental Agreement, which brings the FATCA provisions onto a local basis
• The impact of FATCA on each of the financial services industries will be examined, as well as the impact of FATCA on MNCs
