Leslie Barrett, Tax Partner, Grant Thornton, has extensive experience working with both Irish entrepreneurial companies and large multinational organisations across a broad range of industries and sectors. Leslie advises the shareholders and directors of Irish owner-managed companies on a range of tax issues including group restructuring and reorganisations, cash extraction, capital allowances maximisation, R&D credit claims and VAT planning. He also deals with VAT issues relating to Irish property transactions. For his multinational clients Leslie has significant experience advising on all tax aspects of corporate holding company structures. Leslie has a degree in Law from UCD and is also a member of the Irish Tax Institute.
