The focus of this seminar is on how public sector organisations might account for their performance using techniques such as performance budgeting and output measurement. We will look at current developments internationally, with a particular focus on the work of the OECD. We will also take an in-depth look at the progress that the Irish public sector is making in developing robust output evaluation and measurement methodologies and demonstrating value for money for the public services.
