Alex has worked with Connacht Rugby since 2011, joining shortly after the Professional Games Board was appointed to oversee the development of the professional game in the West of Ireland. He has key responsibility for revenue generation and has over the past two years raised the commercial sponsorship from €500k to currently over €2 million. Prior to joining he worked as Group Sponsorship and Branding Manager for the Welsh Rugby Union and Millennium Stadium companies in Cardiff, Wales.
Nigel Carolan is in his 10th season as Connacht's Academy Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies & Marketing from GMIT.
