ACCA Ireland are inviting you to our online CPD Seminar on FRS 102 - Group Accounting which will be delivered by Liam Doran. This online seminar will take place on Tuesday, 12th of April 2022.

 

The session will look at Business Combinations including the distinction between a business combination and an asset acquisition and the steps required to determine the purchase consideration and the fair value of the identifiable net assets at acquisition.

 

We will also review the subsequent accounting for goodwill, the preparation of consolidated financial statements and the various practical adjustments required therein together with the accounting requirements for associates and joint ventures.

 

Liam Doran FCCA, MBS (Finance)

Liam is Finance Director and a senior lecturer at AccountancySchool.ie and specialises in the areas of
financial accounting and financial management. He has over 20 years’ experience teaching to ACCA, ACA and CPA students preparing for the final examinations of their respective professional bodies and he brings a practical approach to the delivery of the technical content of the various accounting standards.
He has been instrumental in establishing the CPD School at AccountancySchool.ie and has been involved in delivering numerous CPD courses in the areas of Financial Reporting and Financial Management directly to corporate clients.
