ACCA Ireland's Business Leaders Forum member network panel are inviting you to our online 'Risk Management' event, which will be delivered by Vincent Mulvey FCCA. This online seminar will take place on Wednesday 29th June 2022.
As part of the session and under the title, “Great Business Outcomes and Great Risk Management are Two Sides of the same Coin”, Vincent will reflect on the linkage between risk governance, strategy, culture and communications and how the underlying principles are scalable to most businesses as drivers of value creation and protection.

About Vincent Mulvey FCCA
Vincent held a number of Senior Executive roles Bank of Ireland including membership of Its Group Executive as Chief Risk Officer. As Chair of the Group’s Executive Risk Committee over a 12 year period, he advised the Board and the Chief Executive on all operational and strategic risk related matters.
In addition to leading the Risk Leadership Team, he had executive responsibility for the establishment and management of the Group’s Corporate and Commercial Loan Restructuring Unit. He co-led the development of the Group’s Culture Transformation Plan and as Bank of Ireland’s representative, was a Founding Director of the Irish Banking Culture Board.
Prior to his appointment to the Group Executive in May 2009, he was the Group’s Chief Credit Officer Group following a number of key credit management roles.
During his early career Vincent managed customer portfolios and relationships in Corporate Banking. He commenced his career in Retail (Branch) Banking during which time he was awarded a Bank Scholarship to undertake a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Galway.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Institute of Banking.
