About the presenters
Ronan Carroll - Moderator
Ronan is an Independent Non-Executive Director for Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Alternative, and Special Purpose Vehicles, and he is also a member of ACCA Ireland's Financial Services panel. He is also a Certified Independent Fund Director and a member of the Irish Fund Directors Association. He has 12+ years experience as a professional INED. He is PCF-2B and PCF-3 approved by the CBI, and approved by the CSSF.
Anne Flood
Anne is Head of Capital Markets for Intertrust Management Ireland Limited with responsibility for aviation finance and leasing and structured finance services. Anne also provides directorships services to a wide range of special purpose companies involved in aviation leasing and finance, asset finance, securitisation and structured finance, intellectual property, regulated investment funds and holding company structures. Anne has a BSc (Mgmt), Business Studies from TCD, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Callaghan Kennedy
Callaghan is a Partner in the Structured Finance practice, Maples Group. He advises arrangers, managers, investors and issuers on a wide range of finance, debt capital markets and structured finance transactions. Callaghan also advises on fund-linked structures, such as managed account platforms, loan funds and debt funds. He has led and participated in various working groups of the legal sub-committee of the Irish Debt Securities Association. He is also a qualified Irish Tax advisor.
Dominick Barrett
Dominick is Managing Director at Atlantic Star Consulting. He has built a business intelligence platform for global professional service firms and financial institutions which allows them to navigate and identify opportunities in the €1trillion Irish structured finance and SPV industry. Through his company, Atlantic Star Consulting, he helps clients in this fast-growing sector identify opportunities and enhance their business development strategy with crystal clear analysis of the trends and composition of the space.
Shahnawaz Mirza
Shahnawaz is a Financial Services Audit Partner at Grant Thornton Ireland.
