Marty Murphy

 

Marty Murphy joined the ifac team in 2020, as partner in charge of the Dublin office. In 2023 Marty was appointed the Head of Tax of IFAC.

Marty gained a Bachelor of Commerce from NUI Galway and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Irish Tax Institute. Marty trained in SME practice in Galway and subsequently worked for a top 10 and one of Ireland most successful private client firms.

He has a very strong accountant and tax background, with expertise in corporate work and restructuring work. Outside the office, Marty is an avid IT enthusiast and likes to have all the latest technologies and gadgets.

Philip O’Connor

 

CA Partners are an independent firm of capital allowances specialists who advise on the preparation of capital allowances claims for property in a robust and tax compliant manner.

Philip O'Connor is managing director of CA Partners. He is a dual qualified tax adviser and chartered surveyor with over 18 years experience specialising in property tax incentives.

He advises on all aspects of property tax incentives including entitlement, valuation and optimising capital allowances claims.

Before setting up CA Partners, Phil led the capital allowances team of one of the "big 4" accountancy firms.

Karol Kissane

 

Karolis Head of Public Sector Services and Economic for IFAC. Before his current role he worked for a number of years in agricultural policy both at national and EU.

He is a member of the Private Sector Mechanism to the UN Committee on World Food Security and often speaks on matters relevant to agriculture in this forum. Karol is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor and spent the earlier part of his career with Bank of Ireland and Fexco.

He is also a dairy farmer in his native Kerry.
