Power BI masterclass session 3: Data Modelling & Multi-Source Analysis
Discover how to work with multiple datasets and unlock deeper business insights through effective data modelling. Participants will learn how to connect and relate data from different sources, create hierarchies, manage relationships, and use date tables to enhance reporting capabilities. This session provides the practical skills needed to build scalable and dynamic analytical reports.
This session covers:
- Connect to multiple sources of data creating relationships
- Clean data using Query Editor: filter, remove rows, replace vales, create and modify columns, calculation, date, merge text
- Working with hierarchies
- Build visuals from multiple data sources
- How filters and slicers work with 1 – many relationships
- Import a Date Table and link to date fields on other data sources
