Power BI masterclass session 4: Advanced DAX & Power BI Publishing
Master the advanced features that bring Power BI reports to life. This session introduces key DAX concepts including calculated columns, measures, and time intelligence functions such as YTD and MTD calculations. Participants will also explore advanced report functionality including bookmarks and customised views, before learning how to publish, share, and export professional reports for business users.
This session covers:
- Overview of Calculated columns vs Measures
- Introduce DAX functions for manipulating Dates – YTD, MTD, etc
- Aggregate functions – SUM, SUMX, CALCULATE, RELATED, RELATEDTABLE, SELECTED VALUE
- Overview of Bookmarks, customised views
- Publish to Power BI workspaces, save as PDF.
