Pat is a Tax Partner in BDO and an Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute. Pat has over fifteen years’ experience in tax consulting and has a wide range of experience in a number of areas including tax compliance and planning, the tax aspects of business restructuring, the buying or selling of businesses including tax due diligence, dealing with the tax aspects of property acquisitions and disposals, dealing with the tax aspects etc of debt restructuring in relation to trading and investment structures, dealing with Revenue audits etc. His experience covers a range of sectors including construction, hospitality, manufacturing, distribution, family-owned business, R&D and professional service firms. His clients include family-owned companies, high net worth individuals, multi-national companies, semi-state bodies, legal advisors and other accounting firms who do not have an internal tax advisor.
